BoardMatch Leaders Program
Boardmatch™ Leaders is an initiative of Altruvest Charitable Services, a registered Canadian charity, in partnership with top corporations. For more than 20 years, the BoardMatch™ Leaders program has expanded the talent pool and enhanced governance skills of charitable sector boards and senior leaders. We’re fostering more impactful charities and stronger communities. Founding partners include Scotiabank and Ontario Trillium Foundation.
We partner with corporations by training emerging talent and leaders on their roles and responsibilities as board members. We then match them with a charity in need of their skills and interests. To date, we have placed over 800 talented BoardMatch™ Leaders on charity boards in Canada.
Program Overview
1. One full-day, in-person session. One half-day session, six months later. Facilitated by experts from the charitable sector.
2. Customized board placement on charity of your selection.
3. Personalized mentoring from experienced board members for one year.
