Camp Quality Recruits 4 BoardMatch Leaders!

One standout story involves Camp Quality, where we successfully connected four BoardMatch Leaders alumni to four board roles. Here’s a glimpse into Camp Quality’s experience with Altruvest from Fiona Fisher, their Executive Director:

“When Camp Quality sought new Board members, we identified a list of essential skills needed to ensure a strong, sustainable Board of Directors. We reached out to Altruvest and they promptly contacted their BoardMatch Leaders network and connected us with a remarkable group of experienced business professionals in Finance, Governance, and HR, all ready to contribute to our board leadership.

• Allison, a Senior HR Executive with a deep understanding of pediatric oncology camping, quickly volunteered to lead our HR committee. She will ensure Camp Quality has strong and supported leadership.

• Carrie, a CFO, will become an active member of our Finance Committee and a future Treasurer of our organization. Ensuring strong financial oversight of Camp Quality is a priority.

• Nabeel, an experienced auditor, will join Carrie on the Finance Committee. As someone new to the volunteer sector, he is excited to take on his first Board role and actively contribute to the Camp Quality Board of Directors.

• Xue, a lawyer and law firm partner, brings a unique combination of expertise in governance and fundraising, crucial for Camp Quality’s future growth and leadership.

Camp Quality’s Board of Directors are actively engaged, working members. We have high expectations for new members to participate in our committee structure and progress to executive roles. The four new members introduced to us by BoardMatch Leaders bring essential skills that are very important for the success of our Board.”
